Day 1: Nairobi - Aberdare
Drive north to Kenya's central highlands arriving at Aberdare National Park. After lunch at the base hotel, transfer to your tree hotel for dinner and overnight. Game viewing at the Tree Lodge.
Note: Only a small overnight bag is allowed at the Tree Hotel. The rest of the baggage will be stored at the base hotel.

Day 2: Aberdare - Samburu / Shaba
Breakfast. Continue north across the equator to the semi-desert region of Samburu, arriving at your lodge for lunch. Drive along the Uaso Nyiro River in search of crocodile, leopard and resident wildlife. Dinner and overnight at lodge.

Day 3: Samburu / Shaba National Reserve
Breakfast. Full day game viewing along the banks of the Uaso Nyiro River. The river's permanent waters abound with crocodile and hippo and attract plenty of wildlife including the peculiar Grevy Zebra, Gerenuk, Beisa Oryx and the comical Somali Ostrich, unique to these northern parts. Lunch, dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 4: Samburu / Shaba - Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, drive across the Aberdare ranges through the Great Rift Valley, arriving at the famous bird sanctuary of Lake Nakuru Park in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive along the shores of the lake, viewing the flamingoes and other water birds. This is one of the world's greatest bird spectacles. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru - Nairobi
After breakfast, depart for Nairobi arriving early afternoon. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight at the hotel. Lunch and dinner on your own.

Day 6: Nairobi - Arusha - Lake Manyara
Drive south through open ranch country leading deep into Maasai land and then on to the Kenya and Tanzania border at Namanga. Cross the border and drive on to Arusha for lunch. Afternoon drive to Lake Manyara. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: Lake Manyara - Serengeti
Breakfast. Morning game drive at the Lake Manyara National Park. See the famous tree climbing lions. After lunch proceed to Serengeti National Park. Dinner and overnight at lodge.

Day 8: Serengeti National Park
Breakfast. Full day at the world famous Serengeti National Park. Enjoy an exciting spectacle of astounding game and extensive bird life at home on the Serengeti Plains. Lunch, dinner and overnight at lodge.

Day 9: Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater
Breakfast. After a morning game drive in the Serengeti, continue to Ol Duvai gorge "the cradle of mankind". Proceed to Ngorongoro arriving in time for lunch. Dinner and overnight at lodge.

Day 10: Ngorongoro Crater
Descend into the flow of this legendary crater for a full day of game viewing with picnic lunch. The crater contains the greatest permanent concentration of wildlife in Africa. Dinner and overnight at lodge.

Day 11: Ngorongoro - Arusha - Nairobi
Drive back to Arusha for lunch, before proceeding to Nairobi via the Namanga border.
