Day
1 : Arrival at Cochin
Arrive at Cochin Airport/Station and transfer
to the hotel. Spend the afternoon at leisure. In the evening,
enjoy a sunset cruise in the backwaters. Dinner
at the hotel, Cochin.

Day 2 : Departure
to Thekkady
After breakfast at the hotel, depart for a sightseeing
city tour of Cochin - Fort Cochin, Spice Markets,
Antique shopping, Synagogue and Chinese Fishing
Nets. Return to the hotel for lunch. Arrive
at the hotel, Thekkady, in time for dinner.
Day 3 : Boat ride in Periyar Lake - Thekkady
After having breakfast, go for a Spice
Plantation Tour in the morning. After lunch
at the hotel, enjoy a boat ride in the beautiful
Periyar Lake. Return to the hotel for a screening
of wildlife movie, followed by the delicious dinner.
Periyar: One of the largest
wildlife reserves in India, the Periyar Wildlife
Sanctuary is more popluar as a tiger reserve.
A boat ride on the splendid Periyar lake is
the best way to explore the wildlife of the sanctuary.The
Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the few
places where the chances are pretty high that
you will spot an elephant at close
quarters and from the safe confines of a boat.
Not just elephant and tiger, but if it’s
your lucky day, gaur, masher, otter and other
wild animals can come in your way. Keep the rest of the
day free to relax. Overnight
at Hotel.
Day 4 : Transfer
to Kumarakom
Early morning, trek to the jungle followed by
breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, depart
by road to Kumarakom. Afternoon, free to enjoy
the facilities at the hotel. You can swim, fish,
go boating or opt for a rejuvenating Ayurvedic
massage (at an extra cost). In the evening -
a Sunset Cruise along the backwaters, is a perfect way to
rejuvenate yourself. Dinner
at the hotel. Night fishing option available (at an extra
cost).
Kumarakom: An unbelievably
beautiful paradise of mangrove forests, emerald
green paddy fields and coconut groves interspersed
with enchanting waterways and canals adorned
with white lilies. Situated on the Vembanad
Lake, in this small water world you'll come
across plenty of traditional country crafts,
boats and canoes which will take you into the
heart of the scenic lake. The resorts nearby
offer comfortable accomodation and exclusive

Day 5 : Departure to Cochin
After an early breakfast, go bird-watching before
departure to Cochin and check in at the Hotel
in Cochin in time for lunch. Afternoon free
to relax. In the evening, enjoy a sunset cruise
or a Kathakali Show at the hotel, Cochin. Return
to the hotel for dinner.

Kochi is just about the center of Kerala. It

peninsulas. Ernakulam is the commercial centre
and forms the main land. It has a fine natural
harbour around which the city has grown.
Day 6 : Journey towards
back Home
After breakfast transfer to the nearest airport/station
for your journey back home.

Day 1 : Arrival
at Cochin
Arrival at Cochin Airport, meet & greet
and later transfer to Hotel. After lunch you
will be taken for city tour of Cochin, which
includes the Jewish Synagogue, Mattancherry
Palace, and Chinese Fishing Nets etc. Combine
with a shopping at Le Meridien shopping Arcade.

Day 2 : Depart to Thekkady
Morning after breakfast proceed to Thekkady,
following a journey through spectacular countryside.
you will arrive in the hill-station of Periyar.
Check in to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 3 : Thekkady
(Periyar)
In the morning you can enjoy a boat ride in
the Periyar lake . Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary
is situated on the banks of the Periyar lake.
The pride of Kerala and a testimony to nature's
splendor and human innovation. - an artificial
lake, at Thekkady. Here the high ranges of the
Western Ghats are clothed in dense evergreen,
moist deciduous forests and savannah grasslands.
Below this thick green canopy roam herds of
elephants, sambars, tigers, gaurs, lion tailed
macaques and Nilgiri langurs. Over night stay
at Thekkady.

Kumarakom the charming emerald peninsula jutting
into the ever-effervescent Vembanad Lake, takes
you into the heart of the scenic lake where
you'll come across plenty of traditional country
crafts, boats and canoes. The fresh water of
the lake runs into the mainland making a labyrinth
of lagoons, brooks, canals and waterways. The
backwater houses a variety of species of both
fauna and flora. They are rich with marine life
namely the exclusive 'Kumarakom Karimeen' (pearl
spotted fish), Konju (tiger prawns), Njandu
(crabs), Chemeen (prawns) and many more. Overnight
at Kumarakom.

Day 5 Transfer to
Varkala
After morning breakfast proceed to Varkala,
a seaside tourist resort and spa. A small
town 55km north of Thiruvananthapuram, it is
also an important religious place for Hindus.
The Papanasam Beach at Varkala is a quiet, secluded
beach known for its white, silvery stretch of
sand, mineral springs and rocky cliffs. Varkala
is also an important pilgrimage center. The
final resting place of Sree Narayana Guru, the
great social reformer of Kerala, is near Varkala
atop a hill named Sivagiri. High cliffs from
mineral springs majestically rise is a scene.
Overnight at Varkala
Varkala : Varkala is small
town in Kerala, South India. If you're looking
for beaches and are fed up with the crowds &
high prices at Kovalam, then its well worth checking
out Varkala. The best times to go, are of course
in the season, when the beach extends out all
around the cliff face for 500 meters.The beaches
around this area are excellent and if you're
looking for a cheap holiday, Varkala should definitely
be on your list.
Day 6 Varkala
Keep the whole day for your leisure, enjoy the golden
sandy beaches or experience an ayurvedic massage
(optional). Over night at hotel.
Day 7 Depart to
Home
In morning transfer to Airport for departure flight/
